Google Now Commute Card gone.

My google now commuting time and traffic estimate card is gone.
Why is it gone? because I told it to go away.
Why did I tell it to go away? Because it was wrong about my home location

So in the settings you can set your home and work addresses, which I did, correctly, but nonetheless my home location was wrong when estimating commute times. It would tell me I'm 7 minutes from home when sitting at home and show me that home was some intersection in the middle of nowhere.

How can I get that card back?
When I do, how do i fix my home location knowing that I have the correct address set for home in the settings?

Welcome to the forums.
Try opening up Now and scroll all the way to the bottom. Click middle icon that looks like a wand. That should bring up your option to ensure your home address is correct.

Google learns your movement habits too. The card may not show up until it is close for you to leave.

The complication is that I told it not to give me commute information anymore. So I don't think its coming back unless I tell it to come back.

That's partially why i've started this thread, to figure out how to tell it I want the commute card back.

Scroll to the bottom to get to the wand icon. That should bring up the list and click everything else. That should allow you to change the commute option.

That looks like it fixed it. The card is back and the map makes it look like its actually pointed at my house again, not the middle of nowhere.
