Google Now help

I've been searching for about 45 minutes and have not found the correct answer.

How do you activate Google Now after you decline it during the install?

I've swiped, long pressed, licked and punched about everything to no avail.

I've cleared the cache, still nothing.

Got it. Open the Google Search app, under settings, turn ON Google Now.

Just make sure you allow access to both web and location history. Also, for the few days I used Now, it really seemed like the best results came when the GPS was also left on (so you can imagine how taxing it can be on battery life).
