Did anyone notice a change this morning with their app drawer? Woke up this morning to find that it scrolls vertically now. Was there a Google Now Launcher update?

I am also seeing 4 app icons along the top row. Looks like recently used apps

I got the update as well. I like the app drawer a lot more than I thought I would.

This option can be turned on or off in the settings FYI

I installed the APK last week for my nexus 9 and found that on the tablet I don't need the top row because I can see so many apps at a time but I like it on the phone.

Either way it's a new option we didn't have before which is good. And prepare to feel kinda dumb when you keep trying to scroll horizontally from muscle memory.

They could just make it like Windows 8: Scroll vertically to move horizontally

*runs*

Where can you turn it off, have not found that option.

Go to the google now screen/ top left hamburger menu/ settings/ app suggestions (toggle on the bottom)

It threw me for a loop at first but I'm used to it now. I like it a lot better after turning off the four suggested apps at the top.
