Google Now Launcher not working on the lock screen.

I'm using Huawei Honor 8 and I'm using the Google now launcher to make it look a little bit more mature... The home screen and other things are working just fine and look great but the lock screen isn't affected by the launcher. When I change the wallpaper from the launcher and choose both home and lock screen, it doesn't affect the lock screen and the lock screen is still the default Huawei lock screen. Please help me fix the lock screen.

Can you change the lock screen wallpaper in your phone settings ?

Go to settings, display, and change the wallpaper from there. Live wallpapers can't be applied to the lockscreen, though.
