Google Now Launcher

Hey guys,

Has anyone else been using the Google now launcher? I just got it along with kit kat and I'd have to say it's made me love this phone that much more. Seems a ton faster than nova and wiz. How do you guys like it?

I liked it When I used my Nexus 5 but I am not going to root my phone to do use it

I been using android since the Gs 2 skyrocket came out for AT&T and never cared about rooting my phones...I honestly never messed with Downloading APK's and ETC outside or Google play store and the only outside market i downloaded was Amazon app store... Nice to know theres that ... might get to doing it since i get the feeling it would pretty much make the s-pen useless


Edit: I like Touchwiz and don't feel the urge to go back to google now launcher for now

Just tried it on my Gnote 3 and the apps looke weirdly big... might go back to Touchwiz.. Good to know this option exists though

yeah the icons are rather large, but I don't really mind it. I'm loving the google now ability with okay google

After seeing what Microsoft did with Cortana they'd need something like that to make me care about a Google now launcher.

It also needs to let you set defaults for app launches cause I don't want play music launching when I play a song. Google's media player apps are terrible.

After seeing what Microsoft did with Cortana they'd need something like that to make me care about a Google now launcher.

It also needs to let you set defaults for app launches cause I don't want play music launching when I play a song. Google's media player apps are terrible.

Not IMO especially compared to Samsung app.

I use S Voice to launch music instead anyways. It has much better device integration than Google Now.

I typically disable all the Google Play apps, personally. Hangouts is disabled on my device as well.

The Samsung music app is Meh and s-voice? Lol I still wonder why they still make it. Google now is miles ahead of s voice

S Voice does a lot that Google Now is incapable of. Google Now is useful for the predictive stuff. For Voice control a tuff it is firmly behind S voice, easily.

The inability to configure most of Google Voice upfront makes it useless to me.

It also doesn't interface with external services like Facebook or Twitter.

She has never failed me for the weather. The biggest knock against s voice is that she is slower than siri and now.

She is more capable than they are though and that just so happens to benefit me more than they did.

Really? Everyone I've met with a note hates s voice. To be honest ie never really messed with it. I will definitely have to check it out

I use both Google now and s voice.

I can ask s voice to play a specific song from my music library.

When I ask google now to do so it pulls up a list of you tube videos.
