Google Now on Swipe left?

I've been seeing some reviews of the Moto Z2 Play and it seems Motorola removed Google Now on swipe left. Is that the case?

You can change it. Long press on the screen, select "Swipe to show Assistant" and you can choose to have "App Flash" or "Google" as your option when swiping left. I have no idea what "App Flash" is.

Oh nice thanks! I've read on XDA that it's a Verizon thing.
