Google now problem

Lately, after working just fine, whenever I try to "ask" Google something, it says cannot recognize the audio, resend. Keeps failing. I have done a restart.

Any thoughts? Not rooted.

Weird, I just replied and it didn't work.

Anyway, this is done via mobile data or wifi if your language is not downloaded. Check your network with speedtest.net or something and see if you have a poor connection.

thanks for the reply. i did have a good connection when i was trying. this has happened numerous times now. while on wi-fi, while on lte. not sure that is the issue.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling. There could be a file error or something.

I have a friend who use HTC One and Google Now is working as how it should be. I just bought this phone and already, it is not working... not sure if I need to do hard reset...

What I did to resolve the issue is to do hard reset... so for those of you having this problem, restore to factory settings is the way to go.

Btw, I am using HTC Butterfly S...

I've done that three times and I still can't get a location based reminder to work.
