When i use google now and click the menu button on my phone to bring up the settings it comes up for half a second and disappears. I can't access my settings menu anymore on Google now. I don't know if this because of the 4.1.2 update or what. Anyone else having this problem or have a solution?

So all you did was un installed the updates and the menu for google now is working?
How'd you do that? Mine stopped showing my appts and the weather, which is all I wanted it to do.

I went to the playstore and Uninstalled all updates of google search and the menu button started working fine but i lost my amazon shippment card and my stocks card. I'm guessing that without the update you'll lose a lot of the functionality of Google now but with the update you'll lose the ability of using the menu. Hopefully there'll be another update that fixes everything.

How do you uninstall updates from Google Play? Only option I see is to uninstall the app.

I haven't done it yet but go to settings, scroll down to app. Manager, tap on google search app. And hit un install updates. Lmk how it goes if you try it:)

Slight workaround for this issue. If you tap in the "Search or say google" box, and then tap again so that it only says Search. You can then hit the menu button and it will allow you to access the settings menu.

find google search app in playstore. and uninstall. It only rolls it back to the previous version and doesn't uninstall google now completely.

I was having that problem but it went away after clearing cache on the phone.... ?

Tried wipe of dalvik cache abs cache. Still having same problem. Oh well. Hopefully they get an update out to help fix some of the issues with the latest ota.

I have officially reported it. It's in the menu - send feedback.

Told them menu flashes and disappears unless I'm in the text box.

Tried clearing cache but that did nothing. Rolling back the update did the trick. I'm on a Sprint note 2 but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Report sent to Google anyways.
