Google Now timeout issue

I'm trying to send a text using Google Now, about two lines long, but it keeps cutting me off after the first sentence. I'm speaking fluidly, so it's not because I pause too long or anything.

Anyone having a problem with this?

Are using the right phrase.. I'm saying text so and so saying and then I continue with the text
