Thought the answer to this would be easier to find but, will Google Now voice commands now allow me to draft a text or an email and send without touching the phone.

IIRC the last time I was using Android, it did not, it would create the message but I had to manually hit send, which kind of defeated the purpose.

Thanks

What phone? I had a complete text conversation with my sister without ever touching my phone. I have a Moto X. I also sent a message hands-free to initiate a conversation. So, yes it's possible for text messages, not sure about emails.

Yes. After the OK Google command, say "text message to John Doe". It will confirm the contact and ask what the message is, at which point you'll say the message. It will ask to confirm the message and if you want to send it, say yes. It'll be sent.

Hope this helps.

Just tried this, it requires you sync your contacts with Google contacts. I guess I'll be touching my phone to send text messages because I want no part of Google contacts.
