Google Now Voice?

Is anybody else having issues with the Google Now voice sounding very crappy and robotic?

I just got my phone yesterday and I wonder if I have missed a setting somewhere.... she sounds like text to speech from over 5 years ago!

Edit: Solved - Need to download "Google Text to Speech" in order to get the higher quality voice. ASUS doesn't include this with the phone.

Just leaving this in case anyone else has this question.

Did anyone else get a high battery usage warning when they turned on "ok Google anywhere?"
