I just long pressed the menu key ( to the left of the physical home button ) and google now popped up.
I had no idea this was there.
Just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone else missed it.
A whole new toy to play with.
Blows away S-Voice btw

I don't think that is Google Now. Just Google Search. Google Now will be implemented (hopefully) in JB.

Sorry but that is just regular Google search not Google now. Google now is just on jelly bean. I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 and I long pressed the menu and just shows the regular Google search bar.

The stuff on that page, is happening on my phone.
I did a search for a place that I'm planning a birthday party for ( using my laptop )
And when I long press the menu key, it's giving me driving directions to that place.
It's showing me the weather, and my next appointment on my calendar. All in different cards

Well if you are seeing this feature of Google now then you don't have Samsung galaxy S3 you must be using a phone with jelly bean.

I have it rooted, with the wicked sensations rom.
I'm very computer savvy, but I'll be the first to admit, I'm new to the android devices. My last phone was a palm pre.
The monderator in here, Skunk, helped me install the rom, so I think he can verify that I in fact, do have an S3

Oh alright well if you are rooted to jelly bean then of course you will have Google now. But I am not rooted so I have just regular Google search bar.

He is running a touch wiz rom. It has google now. It is an ICS based rom.
Wicked Sensations Rom.. But theres at least a half dozen ICS based Touch Wiz roms for the sprint gs3 that has google now.

Well of course you have it if you flashed your new JB ROM, but you failed to mention that in your original post Enjoy.

It's NOT a JellyBean Rom.... It's ICS....
