google pay

Just used it for first time yesterday and no problem.

i have it set as my default payment so all I have to do is be on home screen and tap NFC reader and works while Samsung Pay is my backup using that when I want by swiping up from bottom of screen to bring up my credit card.

What issue are you having?

What issue are you facing.

I use GPay every day. Have used it constantly for over 5 years without a single issue.

Currently using a note 20 ultra as my daily driver

Samsung Pay was -- and still is -- the only mobile payment platform that works with nearly any credit card reader, not just payment terminals that support NFC, the short-range communication system used by Apple Pay and Google Pay. That second technology, magnetic secure transmission, is what makes credit card swipes work, and it remains Samsung Pay's special sauce.

LG pay works with just as many terminals as Samsung Pay; anyway back on topic
@espen - are you having problems? If so maybe someone here can help.

I use Samsung pay and have for several years.

Samsung Pay was my go to over Google Pay when I got my Note 8 at launch specifically for the MST because NFC wasn’t as widely available as it is now.

But the last year been using GP as my primary and SP if NFC not working which is rare now.

I find Google Pay seems to hit the NFC faster almost the moment you bring it close to the reader.

Both they both work well.

LG's payment system uses MST as well now.

OK. This is the case, I have tries to make a payment with google pay the entire weekend with my new note 20 ultra, but with no luck, I contacted Samsung support without any help, they blame google pay and maybe the app needed a update. I took contact with google pay support and we tried a lot of things to make it work, but they again cant see anything wrong with the setup on my phone and it should work. But today I tried one last thing, I took out the sim card and tried to pay for somthing, and it worked, WTF! I tried one more time with putting it back in but set the phone on flight mode, this did not work, So the conclusion is the google pay app works when I take out the simcard, anybody know how to fix this issue?

Did the sim card come out of prior phone, same carrier, or did it come with the phone new? Possible it's contacts need to be cleaned. The sim card is ok and text and calls go through all right?

The simcard is clean and works with cals, sms and Internet, google pay even works on my old phone with the same sim inserted. The phone is not locked to a carried.

Personally, I have been using Samsung Pay for years, not only on my phone, but watch too.

Reward Points. Between Samsung Rewards and Bing Rewards, I cash in about $300+ in gift cards a year... who am I to refuse free money? :D
