I like the Google phone dial app except for one thing.

When you press the icon to make a call, is there a way to have it default to automatically open to the keypad?

Every time I open it, you have to press a button inside the app to get to the keypad.

I'm not aware of a way to do that. You can send feedback to Google about it from within the Phone app's settings menu.
