Google Photos Shortcut in Camera

Just as the title asks. on my 6P with the latest Nougat 7.1.2, I do not see the ability to set the shortcut for Google photos in the Pixel Camera app. It's a little frustrating. Has anyone else tried this at all? Thank you for any suggestions. I have the latest versions of both apps of course.
