I've never cared much about updates in fact IME most phones work best in their original OS. Due to delays in BlueBorne protection in my VZW V20 the rapid updates make Pixel 2 more attractive.

I too am not super concerned if I have to wait a little bit longer for the latest update. As long as my phone works okay, I'm happy.

As am I but without the Septemner update any hacker can totally take over your phone if you have Bluetooth on. Mine is always on because I have an Androidwear watch. That makes THIS September security update VERY important to me. It won't affect user experience in any positive way but can protect my ID from local hackers. They have to he in Bluetooth range.

Oh my! I didn't know this! I rarely have my Bluetooth on but I'm so thankful you posted about this! I can definitely understand why you'd want the September security patch.
