This is why I never use the Google store. just remarkably bad. Astounding really. And the inexplicable different experiences here in this thread too . Some no probs, others like me, nothing but problems. Shipping dates a mot apart for the same product, etc .. I'll wait on Verizon and get it from there. Honestly Google doesn't deserve my money over Verizon if they can't get a simple thing like this correct after all this time ..

I'm still undecided on the Chromebook ... Not sure if I need it. I may cancel it once I think thru it, placed an order immediately so that I can get immediately if I want it. All Google products go to multiple weeks of shipping within a short time so rather have orders in place now

Anyone think those dates are a bit longer than they really think? They said ships Oct. 12th but I haven't seen anyone with that date. I got Oct 25th-26th, hoping more like the 15th or shortly after.

You are saying EXACTLY what I am thinking - but with much nicer language - how could any company screw things up this bad 2 years in a row?

Pathetic pricing. More expensive than an iPhone 8 Plus, 256GB for a 128GB variant. Costs ~$1,700 CAD once you factor in taxes and accidental coverage. That's downright insane.
