So it's unseasonably warm today in WV. Naturally, my boy wants to catch something.

I'm finding that the fact that the Pixel 2's camera is awesome doesn't automatically give me great photographic skills. Maybe I need an app for that...

I actually do not have a photography background, but I have a great model.

Thank you though, I consider myself artistic, and I know personally know some photographers and I try to emulate their work. That and videography is a bit of an interest to me.

If you go back through the V10, V20 and G6 forums, you'll see some more pics from me too.

So I was poking around on Flickr and I found at least a part of the answer to one of my unanswered questions. That was how the Pixel 2 does with third party apps and long exposure. I found not only that the Pixel 2 is capable of doing long exposures of at least 4 seconds which would allow me to get some creative shots but the app developer is an old favorite from way back on my Windows Phone days. The app is ProShot and I stopped using it since getting the LG V10 and now V20 cause the built-in manual mode encompasses everything I need, but for the Pixel 2 this just may be my dream come true.

Dynamic range is really good in this shot, but it's a bit noisy. I wonder if noise can be improved with future updates?
