I haven't participated in this thread in a while but here's a new one from my phone...
I should add, I might have lots of pics next week but they'll be very somber. I'm visiting the WTC memorial and museum on Tuesday. I won't share if you guys don't want me to. Most of the pictures I take won't be with my phone anyway but I'm going to try to get some...

Some photos of our last 3 days in the gorgeous Cinque Terre area of Italy. Photos are from the land, sea, and up above the hiking trails. Also some of the delicious food we ate. Took hundreds of photos, here are some.
This is the town of Manerola taken from an open area of the hiking trail (most of this trail is closed.

A view of the beach in the village of Monterosso as we started the very hard hike to Vernazza.
A view of Vernazza as we entered the town from our hike. The sun was directly into the Pixel 2 lens and still took a great shot.
This was our view of Vernazza the next morning as we began our hike to the next town of Corniglio. Angle of the sun was much better

Now some food! All was delicious. First, ravioli stuffed with eggplant Parmesan!

Creamy risotto with pumpkin cream and crispy sausage!
The best pesto this Italian heritage person ever has with local hand made pasta!

Some photos of a few days in the beautiful town of Lucca Italy. Completely walled-walkway surrounding the town. It dates back to the Renaissance era. Great place to walk, jog or ride a bike. Here is a picture of the walkway (with my better half)
Very nice narrow cobblestone streets.
Famous for their Piazza's and churches - basilicas. Here are a few in day and night.
Ah yes and the food. We are eating well. When we arrived we had a plate of salami, bruschetta and olives. Plus a couple glasses of wine. If you are wondering, the one salami was the color shown, a reddish-pink.
Ravioli stuffed with beef and pork with Bolognese sauce.
Black taglialini with mullet and canaloni beans.
Super tasty bargain lunch. Tomato, cheese bruschetta, salami and cheese panini and 4 glasses of wine for 23 euros!!
Gotta do a lot of hiking when we return home.
