I paid my Verizon bill recently and was shocked to see the Pixel 2XL is priced at $240 on the Verizon web site. This is for the 64GB version. Both colors are available. Actual terms are $10 a month for 24 months, so you can't buy it outright, but still a heck of a deal.

My 2XL will 18 months old next week and it is still going strong. I've noticed no degradation of speed or battery life whatsoever. Amazing phone.

You can pay it off after purchasing it

I actually got the Pixel 3a for $300 with the current promo from Verizon.... Then when I saw the newest promo for the 2XL for $240?!?! I couldn't take the 3a back fast enough. For $60 LESS I get a much faster processor, the Visual Core chip, a bigger, (albeit not better) screen, a much bigger battery, better build quality, (gotta love the panda look) and IP67 rated water resistance. Oh and those slimmer bezels and better dual speaker placement too! In comparison when you can get that much more for LESS money that is a major, major, major GO! (Thanks Floss) Now I will absolutely miss the headphone jack but if that's the biggest caveat I can definitely live with that. The screen issues are legit but not overwhelming by any means and again basic flagship status for $240?!?! I'm all in

Love mine so far. After trading my broken xforce is $8 a month.

Amazing deal for the folks on VZ. $240 for a new pixel 2 xl is crazy. Yes, even on bill credit.

That's exactly why I jumped on the deal Lepa! The phone flies and the camera is premium. I've been running the Q beta 3 and it's been very smooth.

I made same choice for my daughter. I got her a 2XL and it was cheaper than a new 3aXL but overall a better phone. She just loves it!

My only question is whether Verizon still locks the bootloader down. (If they do, it's a no-sale for me. But the 2 is still perking along.)

so now we are finding out just how much Verizon & Google are ripping us off for seeing it sell so cheap. Verizon is still making money on it to I'd bet. Verizon does nothing if it doesn't make them money..

Perking along? My P2XL is maybe running better than when I bought it brand spanking new 2 days after it's release, never had a problem with it (fingers crossed while knocking on wood!!)

I've never had any issues with my P2XL, screen or otherwise!

Same here. Mines about 14 months old and going like the day I purchased it.

Guaranteed it's locked. This is why I purchased mine direct from Google 14 months ago

I gave my Panda pixel 2 xl to my wife when I got the 3xl. She LOVES it.

It is an amazing phone that will last 2 more years easily. Enjoy your new phone.
