Google Pixel 6 - Voice to text staying in text box

[Android Central Question]

When I do voice to text, after I hit send, the message is still in the text box and I have to delete it before sending another. I can't seem to find an answer online, but I did notice when I restart my phone, it stops for a bit, but it starts to happen again not long after.
Is there any long term solution?
