I am trying to run the pixel fingerprint calibration software to calibrate my fingerprint sensor since I just replaced my screen Google Pixel - Update and Software Repair . I followed the instructions to install the Google USB driver as described here Install OEM USB drivers | Android Studio | Android Developers (Windows 10 - section). I am using a Microsoft Surface Pro 9 with Windows 11. However, in either Portable Devices or Other Devices I don't see anything close to an Android device. So I followed the suggestion mentioned I can't get the google usb driver to install on windows : r/CalyxOS and right clicked on the .inf file and installed the driver and the operation succeeded. However, after putting Google Pixel 7 in fastboot mode the Pixel 7 doesn't turn up in device manager. fastboot devices and adb devices both don't show any devices. fastboot mode in google pixel 7 says device state is "locked (unlockable)". I can connect my Pixel 7 to Surface Pro via bluetooth and Phone Link works. Any way to fix this?
