That's not Google's bread and butter. There are plenty of people here that feel the Pixel is worthy of it's price.

I think Google gives the right balance not over do it with features just keyed in ones and fast clean OS that gets regular updates and is secured , if you want every options available on a phone there is other options but don't make the pixel any less of a device because it has less features. What specs it puts out is high end with other flagships

I would like to see more RAM just to stop hearing it doesn't have enough RAM

Ram is just a number game , ram management is different I remember my Nexus 5x use to hold lot of things in memory without refresh with only 2gb ram

I don't know why people want to pay more for less hardware. Anyway they would grow even faster if specs beat or matched Samsung

The Pixel line is not for everyone and specs aren't everything. That's just the way it is. I don't doubt that they would sell more phones if they bumped up certain specs but I don't see it happening....maybe with the Pixel 4 because we keep hearing that the HTC team they acquired will be leading the charge.

It doesn't need more RAM. 4GBs of RAM in a phone a quit a big of memory. Any early issues that existed with RAM in the Pixel 3 were RAM management issues. Those issues were resolved.

I thought it was because I like bourbon.

Bourbon reminds me of cell phones. People always argue about cheap bourbon verses the good stuff and what makes it worth it's price. I say just like phones it's a free market and the market sets the price.

The only thing Apple does better than Google is the integration between Apple Watch and iPhone. Android just doesn't have a very good smartwatch at this point. I'm sure if Google had an amazing smartwatch on par with the Apple Watch, Apple would be swirling down the toilet.

The one thing I wish Google did hardware-wise when it comes to their phones is use premium materials. I want an all-glass back and stainless steel, not the plasticy feeling back that's currently on the phone. I want some heft.

It's a glass back that feels like plastic. It doesn't feel like an iPhone XS or a Note 9.
