Google pixel hardware quality

It's smaller, a little thicker and I know it is lighter but it feels more sturdy. I'm not sure which is actually stronger. Comparing the Pixel XL to iPhone 7 Plus, I think it is more dense from a math perspective, because Pixel XL is 92.5 cm[SUP]3[/SUP] (15.47 x 7.57 x .79[SUP]+[/SUP]) and 168g while the iPhone 7 Plus is 89.96 cm[SUP]3[/SUP] (15.82 x 7.79 x .73) and is 188g, so the Pixel Xl is approximately .55g/cm[SUP]3[/SUP] while the iPhone 7 is .48g/cm[SUP]3[/SUP]

[SUP]+[/SUP]The Pixel XL has a minimum thickness of .73 cm and a maximum of .85 cm, so I used the average thickness of .79 cm.

On paper yes, Pixel is just millimeter ticker than the iPhones, so naturally mean tougher than the iPhones. But real world actual usage is still unknown for now, I guess a week or two, someone will start torture it and post it on YouTube.

If someone could give us link to a review or opinion if he has one, i would love to know too!
thanks

One reviewer at the Google event said the Pixel has noticeably better build quality than any of the Nexus phones. Others have said it is built well and several have said the phone looks better in person than in pictures.

In my opinion any phone out there if dropped would break except the rugged ones. So why bother? Its like asking whether a Veyron or Aventador won't get any dent if crashed.
