Factory restore..asking for previous pin

So I got a pixel 9 pro. I I had a heart transplant and haven’t used it for a few months. I factory restored it but it’s asking for my previous pin which I forgot. How can I restore from fresh as a new phone

You can factory reset in recovery but it will ask you for your Google credentials.

If you don't have or can't remember the account credentials, there's nothing you can do or anything we can help with. You may wish to reach out to Google directly.

Well I finally remembered the email I used and now my phone is updated and working great. Lol
