Google Pixel Internet Signal Strength?

I've heard of some people complaining about this, is this an issue? How how does it compare to other phones you have had? Does it work well in metal buildings like some phones or can you not even load a page like other phones? Just curious as I am probably picking up a Google Pixel XL tomorrow but not if the signal strength is weak.

Sitting side by side on my desk, the Pixel was 5 dBm less than my 6P on T-Mobile.
