When did it go into pending? First sign i've seen of a 32 gb change.

So I got my Pixel and set it up as new and so far so good. Other than the iOS to Android learning curve I have a major problem I cannot seem to fix.

I cannot receive messages from anyone who has an iPhone. I have disabled iMessage from all the devices I can think of, iPad, multiple iPhones (work/personal), MacBook, etc. Is there any way to globally disable iMessage? If I disabled iMessage after removing my microSIM would that make a difference even though I am connected to wifi?

I cannot believe I am having this issue and I know so many people with iPhones including my wife. Ugh!

I think you need to have your SIM inserted before you disable iMessage on your phone -- try it out. Also for reference:

So I had this problem when i got my Nexus 6P. The person using the iPhone needs to delete the conversation make a new one, and send you a message. It should send it as a text message then.

Thanks, I just tried that after posting as well as what Harpinder suggested and neither worked. I am on the phone with Apple right now and the rep cannot get it worked out either. She said this is a common problem with people switching so I am on hold right now as she escalates to her senior advisor. If others run into this she sent me to the following website but it says my number is not registered with iMessage.

You will see a charge when you first pre-order. This is basically a hold on your account to make sure you have the funds. The charge drops a day or two later and re appears once the order goes into processing.

Mine didn't charge until it shipped. Actually I received my Pixel today and my CC is still showing the charge as pending.

Yes that depends on the bank i am guessing. Mine is also pending charge.

Guess I spoke too soon, mine went into processing late on Thursday and there's an 'in process' charge on my card. They tend to ship next day or 2-day FedEx to Puerto Rico even when I pick free shipping (one of the very rare instances where this works in my favor), but it's highly unlikely it'll make it here tomorrow if it hasn't even gotten a tracking #... So I guess Monday at best.

Pending Charge Showed up on my CC (11/9)
Changed to Processing (11/10 9:43am)
Received Shipped Email w/Tracking (11/10 9:42pm)
Tracking shows shipped from Carol Stream, IL
ETA: 11/15!!
