Folks, if you don't mind, please include the order time in your posts as well, so we can see how the order time affects the shipping batches. Thankful for this thread...I didn't see that we get a free VR!!

If you ordered through Verizon you will get an email with estimated ship date like this:


The Verizon agent said it will actually ship a couple days before the 20th

I ordered mine from Verizon I couldn't resist the $450 discount along with a free Daydream VR

You can always unlock a Verizon phone but you'd have to pay early termination fees depending on how long you have on your contract. Verizon isn't just going to subsidize the majority of the cost for a new phone and let people jump ship. For me I think it's a great deal. Nobody loves their cell phone carrier and some of it depends on where you live because of coverage differences but I plan on staying around long enough to take advantage of this deal.
