Google pixel xl is slow to charge

Does anyone else have their pixel xl charging rather slow? The first couple time I charged my pixel it would "rapid charge" in about 1.5 to 1.75 hours.

Over the past couple times, it "rapid charges" and takes about 3-4 hours to charge.

I have tried and used a quick charge 2.0 charger and also the supplied USB c to USB c charger that Google supplies. Doesn't seem to matter what one I use, the Google pixel xl still takes a long time to charge.

Does anyone know a fix to this?

It shouldn't take 3-4 hours. A little under 2 hours at max. I do have to say that it had really slow quick charging compared to my Note 7. I'd charge a larger capacity battery probably half an hour quicker than this phone.

Charge takes no more than 1.5 hours or so on the XL. Make sure the USB cable is plugged in FIRMLY to the charging block and make sure it's seated properly in the phone. If that doesn't work, it's either the power outlet or a defective charging block. Not a whole lot else it can be.

when I started mine (it was at 15%) a bit ago - it said it would take 3 hours. I did replug it in, now it says a little over 1 hour....

if you are using it....while its charging.... it will charge slower. for me thats def the case
