Is this through the Google store? Did you have the 32g or are you stilling wasting for it?

I got the 32GB xl from the store. They had a ton of them, just not the 128gb. Verizon not Google.

I just got a text message from Verizon. Saying that my order has been received as of 10/30 and it will send me tracking info. I originally ordered on 10/14.

I received the text at 1130am CST and my credit card was charged too, which is usually an indication the phone will ship within tbe next business day! Went from irritated to excited in 10 seconds! (Black XL 128gb)

No text but my CC was charged and got an email saying it was processing. Calling *611 says my order has shipped, no update to the online status yet. Ordered 10/13.

I probably will wait. Or Verizon has the Pixel in 128GB in stock according to their website. Might go that route instead of the XL. That is my real dilemma.

Someone also said that Verizon is doing a deal where you can purchase a phone outright and they will note on your account you are waiting for a Pixel pre order and you can return the phone when you get your pixel for a full refund. I want to know if this is accurate.

If you get push back about this, the magic words are "My understanding is that an exchange for a back-ordered device has 14 days from the shipping date of the replacement, not from the date of purchase of the original".

My exchange is pending. Have a black XL 32 but would rather have a blue one. Blue is back-ordered until well beyond my 14 day window, but I was fortunate to speak to one rep who said they extend the exchange date for back-orders. Put me through to a guy to take the order, he said nope, 14 day limit from picking up the 1st phone. So we got a supervisor. He approved the exchange, which is pending. I keep my current phone, and I have 14 days until AFTER the exchange phone ships to return the original one.

I'm giving the details, because no-one at the store knew this, I only called VZW because you never know when re-stocks occur. And fortunately the 1st sales guy knwe the policy but needed to transfer me to an exchange guy who did NOT know. My point:

EDIT: Just checked my order on Verizon. Strangest thing occurred. The estimated ship date has reverted back to the original 10/20/2016 when I first ordered. Has me wondering if it's shipping time. May be glitch? No email yet.

If they don't shop anything early I think you will be in the early to mid December shipping range.

Your date won't change until the night before it's supposed to ship most likely. My ship by date of 10/28 never actually changed on Verizon's site until about 3 days after it was supposed to ship but I got an email the night before it was going out that it was delayed until 12/02.

Considering those of us that ordered on announcement day are still set for the end of November, I'd say maybe before the new year. This launch has been awful. Thought would've learned from the 6P. My thoughts were that a premium device would be able to have a decent shopping turnaround. Guess not.

My suspicions were correct. I check my order on verizon website again. It shows SHIPPED! FINALLY! It also gave a tracking number. Still no email though.
