Google Pixel XL - Preorder /order/shipping thread

Ordered a 32gb silver XL from Verizon on Friday (placed the order on the phone with a Level 2 customer service agent, since I was upgrading from contract on a busted phone out of warranty phone to a DPP, long and complicated call!).

It was listed as "ship by 11/2", but got picked up this morning in Memphis and is going to be delivered in California by Wednesday evening

Ship date is usually the delivery date.

Google is providing $50 play store credits? How long ago did you have to order to qualify for that?

It has been 15 days for me, but I haven't gotten anything regarding a play store credit yet.

I contacted google via email about the $50 credit.

I was told twice (after I emailed back with a link stating the $50 credit given to those who receive phone after their ship estimate date) that only those who orders were inadvertently cancelled are eligible for this credit.

I'm still waiting on mine…. 11/18 ship date… and I get a message daily to turn off my note 7… .

My card was charged today for my verizon order... hopefully it's shipping soon!!

I preordered a Black 128GB XL and a Silver 128GB XL on 10/12... then got a notice from Verizon saying my ship date was pushed out to 11/18, but that's still over 2 weeks away. They wouldn't be charging my card unless they're getting ready to ship.

Got my shipping notification today from Verizon... My Pixel's will be here tomorrow.

I was under the impression the $50 credit was specifically for people who had been told their phones had shipped and then had them further delayed, or something like that. Somehow, all of the people who pre-ordered but are stuck with ridiculously long waits are still left waiting. I know I'm getting my free Daydream (couldn't really care less about it) but with my Nexus continuing to not have WiFi or BT, this is going to be interminable. At least today I can say I'll have my Pixel *this month*.....maybe.

What about if they charged you for the phone already, does that mean anything in terms of how soon it will ship?
