Google Pixel XL - Preorder /order/shipping thread

I placed my order on Google store on 10/21 for 128gb quite black pixel xl. Est delivery nov 18-21 with expedited shipping. As with most people here, my order switched from preorder to pending yesterday. Checked this morning and there's been no change. Womp womp. Here's to hoping it doesn't take weeks for the status to update to processing.

I'm glad a lot of you are seeing changes. I'm sure Google didn't think that their phone was going to be in this much demand. It also doesn't help that they are calling this phone the best android on the market. Also doesn't help that everyone gave it great reviews with the best camera ever on a phone. So far I would say Google hit a home run.

I actually received my clear case from the Play Store last week. And in my inimitable way of never waiting for a damn thing, I also got a set of USB-C cables, another case (slimmer, probably the one I'll use more often), and a set of screen protectors (read reviews on close to 8 different types before settling on one that had the most favorable; it appears because of the curved glass, no one can make a properly sized protector, least of all Zagg. I got the YooTech, which had the best writeups for size, fit, and installation.) All of that is here or will be here long before the actual phone they are for. *Nelson Muntz laugh*

Yes the delivery times have been rough

But keep in mind people who ordered iPhone 7+ are still waiting too. A buddy of mine ordered a 7+ on September 10th and hasn't even gotten it yet.

I'm three weeks in and getting anxious but now that it's pending I am a little more at ease

I'm not saying it's going to follow the same timeline, but if you look at the first wave of those people who received their XLs from the Google Store, it went like this: pending from Oct. 4 to Oct. 18, switched to processing on Oct.18, and switched to shipped on Oct. 21. I guess that could be b/c Google wasn't planning on shipping until Oct. 21 anyway, but who knows.

Also another thing to mention: I got the otterbox defender (yes it does get bulky and bigger) but the complete protection is very nice. I recommend it for anyone that wants complete protection. Especially in the time while waiting for the lifeproof like I am.

I am waiting for Lifeproof Pixel XL case to be available. Looks like they just released the iPhone 7 version so hopefully the XL isn't far behind. I've currently got the Spigen Ultra Hybrid and Yootech glass screen protector just waiting for my Pixel to arrive... I'm considering pulling the trigger on RhinoShield Crash Guard too.

Google store pre-order of a Silver XL 128GB on Oct. 14th with delivery date of November 23rd-25th went from pre-order to pending Wednesday or Thursday. not sure when as I was traveling.
