I keep getting the error "DF-BPA-09" when I try to download anything in Google play aka the android market.

Any ideas why?

Try removing your gmail account, and adding it back in Menu.

EDIT- Probably worth trying to CLEAR DATA on the market first. Faster if it works :).

running what rom? gapps up to date?

This question.. Also did you do a full wipe before flashing the rom, did you flash the gapps directly after then reboot, and have you restored any system data assuming you did a full wipe?

"Clear data on "Google Services Framework", reboot and manually" - worked for me!!

I was getting an error -101 whenever I tried to download an app using Android Market.

Clearing data on Android Market didn't work, but after I cleared it on Google Services Framework and rebooted, Android Market is now working again :-)

Thanks!!
