Google Play App download says it requires external storage?

I am trying to download an app and it says that the app requires external storage. I have an SD card with 27 gb free and it is formatted to internal storage. My internal storage has 3 gb free. I have tried to restart my tablet and it still doesn't work. I have looked everywhere and can find the same problems but their answer doesn't work.

If it's asking for external storage you don't have that any longer because you changed the SD card to internal storage, I recommend you don't do that as SD cards can be corrupt and slower write speeds will cause slow downs and performance/freezing issues.

So I formatted it and now it says insert a SD card with sufficient space

So it's not reading it , if you can try putting it in the computer with SD card reader and see if it reads it , might be corrupt .

That kind of makes sense because it worked on my other SD card but it was full so I switched to a 32gb SD card and then it didn't work.
