Has anyone here successfully placed an order for the headphones in the Play Store. When I ordered them it automatically cancelled the order with the reasoning being " User Item Limit Exceeded". They were cheap enough to purchase as I hope they are somewhat like the LG branded quadbeats I've seen on ebay.

I tried to order it on 4/3 and 4/4. Both times got the same response. Google needs to get their **** together.

I emailed them and got a auto response with a ship date of April 8th

I doubt it will actually ship. My first order has a ship date of 4/6 and my second one has 4/7.

Yours has ship dates? Or is it the auto reply when emailing Google?

If they're canceled, I doubt they're going to ship, regardless of what the ship date is.

If you look on xda, a few people have received their orders already and done mini-reviews on the headphones.

HI,
My first order was canceled and I called Google Customer Service and asked why did they canceled my order. The Rep, said that they will look into it and that I will be getting an email in 24 hrs, which they did....The bottom line was to update my Google-Wallet and replace my order and I should be getting it tonight. So, please just check your Google Wallet.

Was finally able to order and it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Google also told me the same thing

Mine initial order was also canceled. No email, no nothing. I placed a second order last week and got them today.

They are fairly unremarkable so far. Sound quality is decent, but I guess they need time to be broken in for me to really know how they sound. The buds do come with differently-sized rubber tips (three sizes). The Nexus logo on the aluminum back is a nice touch, as is the flat cord. The cord is also pretty long. You could easily have the phone in a pocket while using the buds. Fits the phone with the bumpers on it perfectly too.

Oddly, where the cords separate, there is an enclosure similar in size to the microphone/single button enclosure (located on the left cord). Perhaps this is to keep the cords weighted so they don't tangle.

Overall, they seem decent. There may be better options at $27 (including shipping) though.

Some burn in ear buds by playing white noise or pink noise through them for several hours. You can find more info and sound files on head-fi.org.

Have been using for a week and I can honestly say not bad for $27 bucks. I don't even have to put my volume all the way up to hear the music loudly.
