Google play movies small library

So I live in Canada and when I tried searching resident evil to buy from the google play store it wasn't their? It looks to me like google play doesn't have a huge media library like apple does. I'm dissappinted that I have to buy the movie from apple now.

It's available in the US. There's probably some kind of licensing issue in Canada.

Well, I am afraid on this one but yes you are correct as Google Play Movies is still new in the market and its the reason why it doesn't have that much larger collection. I am sure things will be going to get fixed once it matures ! Although that doesn't mean Android doesn't have alternatives. It does have alternative like try searching over the Google PlayStore for NetFlix app I am sure you are ware about it and I think that will solves your problem !

Yeah thank you b diddy and thank you Chris for the additional information. You would think a huge tech giant like google would make sure they have a library full of top movies and music over the last 10 years at least lol

It's not up to them, it's up to the rights holders to grant Google access in each country.
