Google play movies ??

Dumb ? I know but after I purchased a movie and downloaded it to the phone? I thought now I can't find it ANYWHERE !!! Am I missing something here ? Is it not meant to be saved to my device for offline viewing ?

If you go to Play Movies you can view it from there. You can not find the file on the phone unless you're rooted. Even then its not a normal named file like most video files you'd look for. Its some off the wall stuff. The only reason I know this is because that is what Google told me when I called to ask about it lol. I wanted to download my movie and put it on the computer. So that was a no go. Hope this helps.

well thats somewhat ridiculous . i mean i did purchase it not just rent it . i should have the right to put it on any device or memory card of my choice.

Same thing happens when you download a digital copy off Flixster. It saves it with a weird file name (although you can find the file not rooted) but it only will play through the Flixster app.
