Google Play Music - Can't Single Out Uploaded?

I've tried my best but can't find a way for this app to show only uploaded music. It shows all of my music on my device as well as uploaded. I essentially just wanted to use google play music as a cloud storage for my music in case something happens to my Ext SD card, not as some kind of primary streaming music app (I'm on limited data and not always near WiFi). Am I missing something or is there really no option?

Btw, if you use the web browser version it ONLY shows you uploaded music so you'd think the app could do the same..

Go into settings. Then accounts and sync. Click on your email and then uncheck music. You may have to clear the apps data but this should work
