Google Play Music - Ringtones.....

It should be in the music folder and if it is the only ringtone it should be the smallest file. You could try and identify it that way.

Mission accomplished. I learned that I had to not only have it down loaded to my phone, but I had to have it downloaded to my desktop. Once downloaded to my desktop, I was then able to follow your directions and get it added to the ringtone folder on my phone. Thanks much for your help and patience.

It might be simple, but I don't want to spend time buying music through phone, then downloading to computer then back to phone. It's stone age solution. If I pay full price for the album, I would like to be able to use it as I wish...

I finally worked out how to do it on my Galaxy S2 (I think it is ~4.1.2?)

In settings > sound > ringtones
select 'add'
use Astro File Manager
> Android
> data
> com.google.android.music (you might need to change the view to 'list view' using the eye up the top to be able to see the directory name)
> music

Note these files do NOT have descriptive filenames. I just used the highest number because it was the most recent download. I got lucky.

Relieved that at least on Android there are workarounds for things that don't work. But seriously, what a mofo

I downloaded airdroid and my phone (Galaxy 4) shows my PC's Ip address. But I don't see anything on my computer when I open Chrome or anything that says to upload. Or should I be using chrome on my phone and Upload from there? Bare with me. I'm old and just want to download a ringtone I just bought to my phone. I can't believe its this complicated.
