I just Pandora for years but with the Nexus 6 in particular since I've got dual stereo speakers I love the Digital equalizer google play music. I don't use Spotify but I was wondering if everyone's thoughts about the to music services for streaming? What do you use? Thanks for the feedback.

Google Play Music all the way and have since they released the service.
Yeah I'm saying that google play music is the favorite option here. I mean the only reason I started with Pandora was for my Honda Civic Si and compatibility with the car app but I can stream google play music via bluetooth to my car. I love the digital equalizer and Mega Bass plus 3d surround sound like you're at a concert hall. Sounds really great especially with my rock music

It's Google play music for me right now cus of the free 6 month offer. But when the trial is over I may get a regular subscription.

I like to go play music through radio stations very similar to Pandora but with bigger HD album art and a lot of nice audio features

Google Play Music without hesitation. I tried Pandora for awhile, then switched to Amazon Music. I was using Amazon Music because it is include with my Amazon Prime Account, but Google play doesn't have any limitations on their music. I can stream oldies and new songs. Best of both worlds.

I tried both and data usage for Google Play Music is about double that of Pandora. I do have GPM set to use less data, but still it gobbles it up.

Do you think it's because Pandora uses lower quality in order to use less data?

I switched from Spotify to GPM, GPM uses far more data, I've set GPM to low quality and not cache during playback and still used far more.

Oh see for me, I have unlimited data so I can stream whenever whatever I want lol I haven't high quality HD Mega Bass and 3d surround sound. I love it.

I suppose so. However, if Pandora is using lower quality, my ears can't tell a difference between the two. Since I don't have unlimited data, I typically go with Pandora to stream music.

I'll tell you this much, my ears can definitely tell the difference between the better bass audio

Personally, I prefer Play Music. I've always found Pandora's library to be fairly limited. If you create a channel, they cycle through the same songs fairly quickly.

I've used Pandora for many years, I swapped to GPM about three weeks ago and so far I like it better. More music choices, I like the play lists better, and the integration with my car works better for changing stations without using my hands. Plus the caching is great for when I hit a bad service area or go though a tunnel.

We're talking about the free service they offer, not the paid one. There is no trial for the free service. 2 different services.

I know that there is 2 different services, but the title says Google Play music vs. Pandora. I was just saying which one I'm using like everyone else is doing.
