Google play music

I keep getting a notification saying that music can't be downloaded right now. I don't want to download any music. How can this be stopped?

Open the Play Music app, swipe in from the left and tap Settings, then uncheck "Automatically cache." Does that help?

Do you know if any of your music is "pinned"? That is, have you selected any of your music from your cloud library to "Keep on Device"? You might have to unpin those tracks.

just hold down the download icon and force stop the app, that usually works for me

There is some music that is pinned but I am unable to unpin them. There is no option for this.
