Google play music

Just got a Samsung s7. Just a quick question about the Google play music app. When I opened it all my music was there including my Playlists. Just want to know, if I play one of the Playlist will it use my data when I play the music.

The Playlist is only a list of the songs. If you play the Playlist, and if those songs aren't already downloaded or cached to your phone, the phone will have to download them, at least the first time. If you have the Cache Music While Streaming option turned on in Play Music's settings, then those songs will stay locally cached until you clear the cache (which means the next time the phone plays the song, it won't have to use data to download it again).
