Google play pin vs. download

You're only allowed 2 (I think) downloads of your music that you purchased that you own (another issue in itself), but does a "pin" equal a "download"? In other words, can I pin an album as many times as I want to listen to offline, where if I downloaded it, I'd only be able to one more time?

I think they are getting rid of the phrase, 'pin'. As for if there is a limited number of downloads, I am not sure off hand.

You can pin your music as many times as you want. It doesn't count as a download.

so what is the limit of non-purchased catalog albums that you can pin?

Off the top of my head, I think the restriction is on the number of devices you can download purchased music to rather than the amount of times you can download to one device. Though I could stand corrected!
