On a T-Mobile device with multiple users, Metro apps that can't be removed have appeared. I'm at a loss as to what can be done. Ideally, one would think that one would be able to choose.

If it's a carrier-branded phone, it's up to the carrier to load apps and either allow uninstall or disabling such apps. However, some of those additions are not always 'full downloads' but shortcuts that would prompt you to download the app after opening.

If apps are "appearing" on T-Mobile you can safely disable these, not sure they are all needed to make it stop but won't hurt anything either.

- Content Manager
- Device Manager
- Meta App Installer
- Meta App Manager
- Meta Services
- Mobile Device Information Provider
- Mobile Services
- (T-Mobile) App Manager*
- (T-Mobile) App Selector*
- T-Mobile Diagnostics**

* These are gone from my device and can't remember if they start with T-Mobile.

** All but this one are System Apps which you need to enable in the settings filter to show up.

Oh! Huge step I forgot. Go to Special Access in settings and disable the button for each of these in:

Change System Settings
Install Unknown Apps
Usage Data Access

There may or may not be in all three sections. I took my shredding of those apps a step further but not needed so I can't see which is/was where anymore but do know a few had at a few of these which allows them to install carrier crap.
