Android Central Question

Sorry for my language, but I have Power armor 14 pro with Android 12 and it's giving me play protect unistall harmful apps WITHOUT ANY SPECIFIC INFO ABOUT WHAT APP!!
So it just seems like very ****ed up solution!!
Why? You may ask.
There are lots of applications which are not available on playstore due regional restrictions or just because Google don't have a control over them!
But I'm not billionaire, so before I buy something I would like to know: doe's applications work correctly, doe's applications keeping my data safe and will not spy on me (COLLECT DATA)!!

[Mod redacted]

For me, who spent lot of time to get some programs to test them out so I know what to keep and what to avoid, it's not possible to erase something without knowing what I will loose!

It's like I don't own my device...
Also those [Mod redacted] do not answer my questions!!
And it takes a while before I start to loose my cool vibe..
So I ashore you, dear reader, I was nice and good mannered when I wrote them. That was two weeks ago...
And after one week I sent new one and also recorded the screen (all the lines and also that sending and not robot bla-bla-bla), still nothing!

So I would like to know, is that normal?!?

Hopefully you will answer.

Stay safe and healthy.

Welcome to Android Central! So Play Protect is warning you about apps you installed from other sources, but you don't believe that? Most if not all 3rd party antivirus apps also will not give you details as to why they flag certain apps -- only that they might be potentially unwanted apps or malware.

It's your own business if you want to install risky apps. Just be prepared to face the consequences.

I have some 3rd party apps on my phone and play protect doesn't flag any of them, nor does Malwarebytes. Your apps are getting flagged for some reason. If they don't contain hidden malware then they are at least modded in some way which could potentially be harmful as well. What apps have you downloaded and from where?

DJI app at one point did the same for me. Flagged as malware because I have to download directly from DJI.
If you think it is 100% legit then use it otherwise it's up to the company to satisfy Google that there is no malware involved. Talk to the developer and see what they say.
