Google Play Security Update S24

Some of the other models had posts about this, but none for the S24 that I could find. But I got the Jan '26 Google Play Security Update this morning on my AT&T S24+.

Samsung's finally letting the updates through, it seems.

I also installed the Jan '26 update on my S24U on Verizon this morning. It had been on the July '25 version all this time.

Thanks for the heads up. Just downloaded the January 2026 Play System update.

My unlocked TMO S24 was stuck on the August 2025 update for ever

Yeah, mine had another update yesterday, but it's still on Jan 1. Maybe a slip-streamed fix or something.
