Google Play Service - Extremely High Data Usage

I'm on AT&T and I noticed Google Play Services is consuming a great deal of my data. Over the last 17 days it's consumed almost 10 GB of data. I have no idea what is causing this? It's never been this high before. Not even close. Facebook has only consumed 476 MB in the same period.

I've changed my setting under Google Play Services to "Restrict background data."

Does anyone have any suggestions? Or has anyone seen this before?

Have u tried to clear data/cache by going to setting-app-google play services?? If yes then try to reset ur phone or try to turn off ur location services.
