Google Play Services - 38% of battery use

Hi,

Have had my Nexus 10 for a few days now and mostly enjoying it coming from Apple. Only big issue is batter life is pretty poor compared to Ipad, but I know it would be going in. Im using battery widget and it auto turns everything off at night. But still loosing 8% charge overnight (7 hours)

Question though is it normal for Google Play Services to be taking up 38% of battery use all the time. I think this could be the overnight issue as well. I have tried tried turning off GPS, Wifi etc but makes no difference. (see attached photo)

Seems to be mainly consisting of below items which I dont really seen to know even what they do.
Google Play services
Google Account Manager
Google Contact Sync
Google Services Framework
Network Location

This is a known problem across many (maybe all?) Jellybean Android devices. There are lots of threads about it in the phone forums. For example: http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc-evo-4g-lte/282072-new-google-services-killing-battery-life.html

One thing that might help would be to turn off location tracking in maps and in Google Now.

Ok, guess will just have to wait for a Google fix. So annoying.
