Google Play Services Battery Drain

I've been having the same problem of massive battery drain over the last week or so with over 40% battery use being reported from Google play services. Any tips on pinpointing the culprit?

Works every time for me when Google Services gets out of hand. Note: you have to have GPS on and battery at 100% for it to run, then you just reboot the phone. I also add a cache clear in that reboot (I just reboot straight to recovery).

so i an not sure which of these fixed the problem but i opened up a cpu monitor app and both the Google fit app and the lastpass app were doing a constant 2-3% background processing so i reinstalled google fit and disabled the accessibility setting for lastpass and all is well again with battery life
