Hey guys,

I'm sure it isn't the first time you've seen this message, but it's an ongoing issue for me. I've got my Nexus 5 (GSM/T-Mobile) upgraded to the latest OTA for Lollipop 5.1.1 & I'm pretty sure the update is the cause of this problem.

I know how to make it go away for a while. The usual Google Play Services app data clearing, Google account removal, reboot, sign back in. This usually work for a few days until the error re-appears. The problem is, every time this error shows up the phone gets SLOOOW. Apps quit while using them, the homescreen rebuilds almost every time I go there, and sometimes the keyboard refuses to show up or go away. These are all typical of memory issues, probably caused by this Google Play error.

Has anybody got a fix, or should I just flash the Marshmallow update? I was gonna wait for the OTA but if this'll give me a fresh start, so be it.:'(

What version of Google Play Services do you have? I'm on 8.1.15.

My version says the same thing, 8.1.15. The error's gone in the meantime since I've wiped the Cache using the Bootloader. Every time I "fix" it I hope it goes away for good.
